I am extremely goal driven, with extreme I mean for example that I set an amount of how many times I should go to the gym, run and play squash per year. I am ambitious meaning that my goals are often a bit tough to reach but it drives me forward and keeps my head in the right place.
Many financial blogs have the goal of becoming rich and do not have to be reliant on an employeer. I think thats a goal many people are dreaming about. To be honest, I don’t know what my end goal is, what I do know is that I want to be more independent and be able to work from abroad when I feel for it, but as mentioned I want to work. Work is fun, I am in the belief of, if work is not fun your are most likely in the wrong place.
Anyway, let’s talk goal, my goal. Before stating the GOAL I would like to say that as of today (2019-11-22) I have financial assets of 32977 CHF, 23951 CHF on my brokrage account 9026 CHF is money tied up in shares that I have received from my employeers (looked up for some time – vesting periods).
GOAL
Long term goal 1’000’000 CHF with a portfolio which pays more than 4% dividend per year – why 1’000’000? It’s a nice figure, I would live a good life and be able to be independant. Before reaching there I will of course have many milestones.
